They have played at MOTM and Pardi Gras along with many other Parrot Head Club events and venues. March 18th St. Parrot's Day – It’s almost time for COPA’s own version of St.Patrick’s Day as we celebrate it Parrot Head style. Since it’s our own version, we do it on the day that we want because that’s how we roll! Those attending will get a FREE Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner provided by the VFW Post 9969. You're invited to bring side dishes & desserts. We’ll have a 50/50 drawing to benefit VFW Post 9969, a door prize drawing and a name tag/lanyard drawing. July 19th Ft. Worth Train Trip - It's our 3rd annual trip riding the rails of Amtrack to Ft. Worth to pub crawl the bars and fun places of the Ft. Worth Stockyards! We have made a few changes that I'm sure everyone will appreciate! Here are the details. Mark your calendar for July 19th(Saturday) and returning July 20th(Sunday). Cost for round trip is only $75 per person. This includes a charter bus picking us up at the hotel Sunday morning with a return time to the city by 5:00 PM Sunday! Yes a 5:00 PM return time! No more getting in at 11:00 at night! Hooray! We will be leaving on the Amtrak rail at 8:25 am with an arrival time in Ft Worth of 12:25 pm. We will need to be there an hour early for boarding so plan on being at the station at 7:25 am. When we arrive at the train station in Ft. Worth we will have a bus pick us and take us to hotel. This will eliminate waiting for shuttles to shuttle small groups to the hotel. July12th - (Rescheduled)  “mar"GEER"itaville 2014, 27th Annual Backyard Party. Social Hour Starts at 5 pm, Supper at 7:00-ish. Fundraiser to benefit the Central Oklahoma Humane Society. As Parrot Heads we "Party With a Purpose" to help our local charities. We will have a table and truck set up at the back gate to take donations for the Central Oklahoma Humane Society. You will receive one point for every towel/cleaning item, can of dog/cat food, or pound of dry dog/cat food you donate. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for the most items donated. You will find a sign in sheet at the table to log in what you donate. In addition, BRING CASH because we will have a 50/50 raffle for this charity. The winner will be announced before supper. We’ll have horseshoes set up for our yearly THROW DOWN competition, the pool will be open if you’d like to cool off, and the hot tub will be bubbling to help you relax. We’ll start the supper buffet line around 7:00-7:30. Bill cooks up some great smoked brisket and pork shoulder along with BBQ bologna and polish sausage. Trina adds BBQ baked beans and cold salad. Members of COPA will man, woman and keet a Water Station Rest Stop along the route of the bicycle race. We will be handing out water, GatorAde, fruit, cookies, etc....Details & directions will be provided to those volunteering. June 28 Klaser Key Dive-In Theater Pool Party - It's time for a great time at the Klaser's for another COPA Dive In Theater. We'll be having Dinner, Bobbing, Brent Burns, and a Dive-In Movie or 2. There will be a nominal entry fee with 100% going to charity. There will also be a few auction items as well. Party gate opens at 3:00, Eat at 5:00, Brent Burns 6:00 - ??, Dive in Movie after the concert.. Bring your swim suit, a towel, a lawn chair and your cooler. June 25th James "Sunny Jim" White @ JJ’s Saloon - On Wednesday the June 28th, Trop Rock legend "Sunny Jim' White will be appearing at JJ"s Saloon from 5:30-8:30 pm. "Sunny Jim" performed for us last year at Klaser Key and just recently at COPA's all inclusive trip to Costa Rica and he was outstanding both times. It is the mother of all Parking Lot Parties where a Jimmy Buffett Concert is supposed to follow!!!! There will be the usual activities plus some for the very  first time.
