COPA’s first and hopefully Annual “Fins and
Pins Bowling Tournament” to benefit the Work Activity Center
of Moore, OK. Be looking for the e-mails for this Fun, Fun,
Fun till daddy takes the T-Bird away bowl’in Tournament,
there’ll be prizes a plenty, raffles, silent auctions and
we’ll all be having a great time for a great cause, so plan to
sign up and come on out. Did I mention BEER FRAMES!!!!

COPA’s special holiday "Watering Hole". We will meet at
Hooter's on N.W. Expressway just west of May Ave. at the
usual 5:00 until ???. The U.S. Marines will be present to
oversee the "Toys For Tots" Toy Drive. So bring an
unwrapped toy to throw in the toy box. We will have "Buffett
Trivia", a 50/50 drawing and door prizes as well. The
"Hooters Girls" will be dressed in tropical and pirate
attire. We should have a food & drink special that night

you're in luck, we are offering 3 such community service
hours at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma from 1:00 pm

you sign up to help out our friends at the Food Bank!!!

Ahoy me bucko’s, it’s time for the 4th
annual Buccaneer's Ball with this year’s theme “Pirates and
Poodles Skirts" hosted by the Peterson's in the shark infested
waters of Twin Lakes and of course its a “Pirate & Poodles
Costume” Ball. Dress like the 1750’s, Dance like the 1950’s
and Party like its 1999 ten years later!!! I guarantee you
won’t want to miss this one. Be looking for the e-mails with
directions and other stuff REAL SOON!!!

Drink So Other's May Eat! We will meet at will be at
Halftime Sports Grill at 6812 S.W.
55th St. (on Newcastle Rd. between MacArthur & Rockwell) at
5:00 pm until ??? Please bring at least one can or food
item to be donated to the Regional Food Bank. Whoever brings
in the most “cans” will receive a bottle of Patron Tequila,
must be present and 21 to win, a bottle of Capt’n Morgan
Reserve will be given for 2nd most “cans” and a
surprise bottle for 3rd most cans. Halftime has
donated a bicycle built for two to be auctioned off, with the
proceeds going to our charity of choice. We'll also have
drawings for door prizes of questionable value and as always
we’ll have a 50/50 drawing as well. Also stick around for a
little “Okie Karaoke” and listen to the likes of Buck Owens
and Pasty Cline, OK it’s NOT much like Buck and Patsy but it’s
fun and funny just the same!!!

Let's all
"Get Down In The Dirt" as we've setup a "Night At The Races"
for COPA Friday, August 7th at 7:30 pm at the State Fair
Speedway. Bring at least one can of food for the Oklahoma
Regional Food Bank and receive a discount ticket for $5
(Children under 12 are free with a paid Adult admission). It's
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT so there will be special things planned
for the fans.

Water Station
at the Norman "Conquest" Bicycle Race... Members of COPA will
man and woman a Water Station Rest Stop along the route of the
bicycle race. We will be handing out water, GatorAde, fruit,
cookies, etc....Details & directions will be provided to those
volunteering.

POOLooza SEIS, Pool Party and Salsa Recipe Contest... Hosted
by Bob & Paula Fiala. Bring a Mexican side dish, your own
beverages (no glass bottle please), swimsuit, towels, & lawn
chairs. Party starts at 6:00 p.m., Dinner at 7:00 p.m., Salsa
entries must be submitted by 7:00 p.m., winners will be
announced at approximately 9:00 p.m.

to be held in San Antonio
this year.

MarGEERitaville - The annual and ever famous and not so
discreet MarGEERitaville hosted by Bill & Trina Geer at their
very own Southeast of Disorder, 2200 Minnie Lane (please park
in the back part of Windsor Lanes Bowling Alley located on the
south side of NW 23rd Street just west of Meridian). Happy
Hour at 5 p.m. (Adults only please). Eat around 7:30 or 8 p.m.
Bill smokes brisket, kielbasa, and bologna for us to nibble on
and we also provide potato salad and baked beans. We
appreciate side dishes, chips, dips and desserts but they are
not required. We'll have horseshoes set up for the
competitors in the bunch, the pool open for the young at
heart, and the hot tub for those of you who just want to
relax.

It’s time for COPA’s 16th
annual birthday/membership appreciation party at the Del City
VFW. This year will be a HUGE blow out bash with singer/song
writer Don Burke as our entertainment for the night. If you
have never seen Don before he is a true kick butt trop rock
artist out of Texas. BEST PART IS IT'S FREE TO MEMBERS!!!!
Dinner will also be provided and cheap, cheap, cheap VFW
drinks will be pay as you go. Unhosted Happy Hours from 3:00 -
6:00 p.m., Dinner, games, auctions from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., and
the Don Burke Concert from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00pm with the bar
open till Midnight.

Survivors Reunion. We will have this
party after the party reunion in the patio area of
Thunder Roadhouse Cafe, 900 W. Memorial Rd.. It
will start at 5:00 pm and go until ??? We will have some
wonderful door prize from the COPA prize vault, a 50/50
drawing and no doubt some other fun activities. There
will be a band playing from around 7-10 p.m..

Rumderful Life will take place at the VFW in Del City, a return

and stops right here in OKC for a Sunday afternoon show to end all shows –
John will play from 4:00PM to 7:00PM but the COPA PHun will start at

MacArthur & Rockwell). This is a FREE show you won’t want to miss.

COPA’s 1st Annual
“Tin Cup Challenge” golf tournament will be held at the Surrey Hills Golf
Course. All proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit OK CASA. This
could prove to be the single largest fundraiser we've ever done if
everybody will pitch in and do their part so plan to come out and have a
great and help some great kids!!!

golfers party. As always the event will start at

the Brick to join the Redhawks in the 2nd annual Jimmy Buffet
Margaritaville Night against Albuquerque @ 7:05 PM, and it's also thirsty
Thursday, darn the bad luck!!!
We hope to again this year set up a table and raise some money and
some awareness for Alzheimer's.
