July 10
ParrotHead Bedlam at the ballpark! That's right, the PHlock is heading to the Brick to join the Redhawks in the 2nd annual Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Night against Albuquerque @ 7:05 PM, and it's also thirsty Thursday, darn the bad luck!!! We hope to again this year set up a table and raise some money and some awareness for Alzheimer's.

July 12
”PHlocking At The Freeman's” Come for a day of swimming, fun, drinking & eating. Hot dogs w/ fixins are provided. Bring a favorite dish, beverage of choice & lawn chair. Tropical attire or swimsuits will be the attire for the day in the sun. 420 Cactus Road, Yukon, OK.

Water Station at the Norman "Conquest" Bicycle Race... Members of COPA will staff a Water Station Rest Stop along the route of the bicycle race. We will be handing out water, GatorAde, fruit, cookies, etc. all from our mobile Tiki Bar....Details & directions will be provided to those volunteering.

Fiala POOLooza Cinco / Salsa Recipe Contest... Hosted by Bob & Paula Fiala. Bring a Mexican side dish, your own beverages (no glass bottle please), swimsuit, towels, & lawn chairs. Party starts at 6:00 p.m., Dinner at 7:00 p.m., Salsa entries must be submitted by 7:00 p.m., winners will be announced at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Attention all you COPA Convicts, those still needing community service hours to complete your court sentences, you're in luck, we are offering 3 such community service hours at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma from 09:00am till 12:00pm, be looking for the e-mails for this workday and make sure you sign up to help out our friends at the Food Bank!!!

It’s COPA’s 15th annual birthday/membership appreciation party at the Del City VFW. This year will be a HUGE blow out bash with Jerry Diaz and Hanna's Reef as our entertainment for the night. If you have never seen Hanna's Reef before they are a kick butt trop rock band out of South Texas and are often featured on Radio Margaritaville. BEST PART IS IT'S FREE TO MEMBERS!!!! Dinner will also be provided and cheap, cheap, cheap VFW drinks will be pay as you go. Unhosted Happy Hour from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., Dinner, games, auctions from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Hanna's Reef Concert from 8:00 p.m. - Midnight.

You will receive one raffle ticket for the each food item you bring in. A special drawing will be held for a bottle of Patron Tequila for those that drag their cans in, must be present and 21 to win. We'll also have drawings for door prizes of questionable value, a 50/50 drawing as well for American Heart Association AND we get to stuff the Ballot Box for the rename Spinozi's Bar contest, you won't want to miss that!

"Fruitcakes On Stage" Lip Sync & Karaoke Contest

It's your big chance to become the next "COPA IDOL" as COPA presents "Fruitcakes On Stage" Karaoke & Lip Sync Contest. Get out your spandex, go-go boots, rhinestone jackets, wigs, furry guitars, flashdance sweatshirts, boa constrictors, etc., etc. and put together an act imitating or performing as one your favorite performers, bands, etc. Your act can be done as an individual or as a group. Here is the address & directions where "Fruitcakes On Stage" will be held:
11330 Benttree Cr. It is 1 block east of N. May Ave. on the north side of N.W. 112th. St. Turn east between the Braum's and Bank of Oklahoma on N.W. 112th, Go about 100 yards and turn left through the iron gates with a "B" on them. The clubhouse is straight ahead.

COPA Goes Loony! - It's a group outing to the Loony Bin Comedy Club (how appropriate since we are all so loony). The
headliner comedian for that night is Matt Davis. Arrive at 7:00 p.m., group seating at 7:15 p.m., show at 8:00 p.m., $10 per person, must be 21 or older and must present your ID (no tolerance). RSVP to dflowers6@cox.net by Nov. 5th. This is a non-smoking show. Smokers may step outside to the bar area if needed. Non-smokers can enjoy the show smoke-free!

Ahoy me bucko’s, it’s time for the second annual Buccaneer’s Ball hosted by the Peterson’s in the shark infested waters of
Twin lakes and of course it’s a “Pirate Costume” Ball with the Prairie Pirate serving up his famous Fish Fry feast. Charity of
the month will be the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
